Community Camaraderie with Coach Tatiana Ruhl

Welcome to Crossroads a highlight of the amazing people which make up the town surrounding Kresston by Johnson Development at Crossroads we're bridging the gap between community and development.

I chose to teach and coach in Magnolia ISD because it was the same community that shaped me and helped me be the person who I am today. I went to Magnolia West High School here where I work now. It's been so fun it's been a privilege to come back and walk the same Halls now not as a student, but as a teacher and shape the lives and  youth that I once was and help the community grow. It really does have a special place in my heart.  

I could describe Magnolia ISD and Magnolia West High School in three words it would be inspiring, inclusive and supportive. Just those three words alone embody what Magnolia West staff and Magnolia ISD teachers do for their community and students.  

The biggest lesson that I want my student athletes and even academically students in my classroom to understand that being persistent and having that perseverance to go and strive for goals that you think are bigger than you and not shy away from them. Go and strive for them you will be successful and you will find success or even better, success will find you.

One thing that's really special about Magnolia ISD that I know not every District can say is that their tennis programs and they tennis coaches and coaches overall are legitimate. Their dedication  and their backgrounds are immense and I think beyond a high school coach that it's such a privilege to have them for the kids and utilize them where they are now. Magnolia ISD and just Magnolia in general has one of the most vibrant and colorful communities. It is high-spirited it has that Texas Pride inside. It has that small town charm which I don't think you can find honestly anywhere else.  I know we're growing but even though we're growing our foundations have been built on that [small town charm and that's something that will never go away.  Everyone has this sense of camaraderie the community is always willing to strive and step up to help no matter how big or small it is and I think that's really special about Magnolia.

If you're debating on moving to Magnolia ISD I'd say there's probably already a place here for you so you might as well just move in!
