Crossroads Episode 5

Farm & Foundry

Farm & Foundry Brings the Community Together

Welcome to Crossroads, a highlight of the amazing people which make up the town surrounding Kresston by Johnson Development. At Crossroads, we're bridging the gap between community and development.

As Kresston's Director of Fun, I host events here at the Boot House and around the community for our residents, where we get to do workshops, pop-ups, just anything that brings the residents together to meet their neighbors. At our Farm & Foundry, we have a bunch of local and homegrown, homemade vendors. I love it because it brings all the residents here and it's one of their first experiences within the community of an event. How I incorporate my job with the farmers market is I use a lot of these vendors for my resident events.

The community's been great here, like everyone's super supportive and even the vendors are so nice. Like we've become pretty good friends with some of them. We get more exposure is coming here, like the community's been very supportive. We love just sharing our kolaches with everyone.

Being here and meeting people has helped grow a lot versus trying to promote it myself. They do a lot for the community, so I wanted to be involved here with them and I know it's going to grow into something big. The community is only going to get bigger, so I think it's a great place to be. Anyone who wants to find a good farmers market, come on out to Farm & Foundry.

Our Farm & Foundry Market typically happens on the third Saturday of every month and we would love to have you guys come out and join us, whether you're a vendor or the public in the area and you want to come experience our market, we'd love to have you.

Join the fun at Farm and Foundry!
