Liberty Junction Amenity District On the Horizon
Get ready Kresston! Liberty Junction, our new 20+-acre amenity district, is on the horizon and set to become an exciting new gathering spot for the community.
In traditional Kresston fashion, Liberty Junction will take inspiration from beloved Texas vacation spots; the towns and terrains that built our great state. What was the inspiration for Liberty Junction? Gruene, of course!
If you’ve ever been to Gruene, you know it’s something special. It’s where Texas history meets good times, with a dash of small-town charm thrown in. Liberty Junction takes its cues from this iconic town, aiming to recreate that same sense of connection and celebration.
One way we are doing that will be the live music pavilion. Like Gruene’s historic dance hall, this will be a place where local bands can take the stage to entertain and delight residents with everything from the blues to rock and roll.
When they aren’t singing and dancing, our residents will be swimming at the aquatic center. Perfect for cooling off when the Texas weather gets a tad warm, this will be where families gather to splash, lounge and work on their tans.
Sports enthusiasts will love the sports courts and fields, ideal for everything from pick-up games to semi-competitive matches (you know who you are).
In addition to trails for exploring, Liberty Junction will have designated camping areas where families can pitch a tent, do some star gazing and enjoy that morning grass smell. Sites will be near our lake so anglers can drop a line for some catch-and-release fishing.
Keeping everything running smoothly will be the HOA with offices in Liberty Junction so questions can be answered on the way to the pool.
Everything about Liberty Junction has been designed to bring people together in the best way possible with plenty to do and a spectacular Texas vibe. But it’s more than that. It’s a tribute to Johnson Development founder Larry Johnson (they have the same initials.) whose small hometown of Kress was the inspiration for the Kresston name.
