Meet the Friendly Face Behind Kresston’s Warm Welcome
A friendly smile is always welcome, and when you arrive at the Boot House, that’s exactly what you will receive thanks to Amey Hunter, our amazing Welcome Ambassador.
Amey is the go-to person for all things Kresston, ready to answer questions and share her enthusiasm for our growing community.
“I’m thrilled to be part of Kresston from the start and can’t wait to watch it grow as more people move in and call it home,” Amey said. “It’s so fun showing families my favorite things about the neighborhood and seeing their excitement when they realize it’s exactly what they’ve been searching for.”
Born and raised in nearby Montgomery, Amey has a unique understanding of what makes this part of Texas special. She graduated from Montgomery High in 2017 and went on to earn her degree in Communications from Texas A&M University in 2021. Her strong background in real estate, spanning residential, commercial, and property management in Montgomery and Brazos counties is a definite plus!
But Amey’s not just about business; she’s about building relationships. As a proud dog mom to Ash, her white husky-German shepherd mix who she rescued from a shelter, and an aunt to six nieces and nephews, family is central to her life.
“One of my favorite things is spending time with my family,” she said. “It’s really special when I get to go to work and that is what my work is all about—families and friends coming together to make up this community. Valuing those around them, the time you get with them, and sharing special moments.”
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Amey staying active—whether she’s hitting the gym, taking Ash on trail walks, or enjoying Magnolia’s rodeo season and local country concerts. She’s also a self-proclaimed foodie who loves spicy dishes, exploring local markets, and relaxing at outdoor wineries and breweries. And when Sunday rolls around, you’ll find her at church, staying active in her faith and connecting with the community she loves.
