Summer is almost here and so are summer camps. Whether your kid loves art, music sports or animals, there is something near Kresston for your child.
Magnolia ISD Adventures
9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, June 2-July 25
Ages 5-12
$160 per camper per week
Weekly themed camps for students enrolled in Magnolia ISD schools offer fun for everyone. Campers will have opportunities to craft, engage in STEM activities, swim, take field trips and more.
Dance Connections
Days and times vary, June 9-July 28
Ages 3 and up
$50-$135 per camp
Kids can explore the world of ballet, jazz and hip hop while having fun and sprucing up their technique. Single-day and week-long camps available.
Alodia Basketball Academy
8:30 a.m.-noon & 1-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 2-July 28
Grades K-8
$155 half day, $245 full day
Camps designed by ex-Division 1 college players will inspire players on and off the courts. Programs will focus on dribbling, shooting, footwork and more. Campers must bring their own basketballs.

Young thespians can gain confidence when treading the boards at a variety of camps designed to hone their acting chops. Summer stock (by audition only) and weeklong camps devoted to finetune skills, musical theater and more will provide opportunities to have fun and make friends.

Friends of Texas Wildlife

Campers will have fun learning about wildlife as they explore animal artifacts, meet live education ambassadors, create crafts and play games.
KMR Equestrian Summer Camp
9 a.m-2 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, June 3-July 22
Ages 7-16
$700 per session
Riders of all levels will improve their horsemanship and skills as well as learn from farriers, veterinarians and an equine chiropractor. There will also be crafts, games, water balloon fights and ice cream parties.

Teora Music School Summer Jam Camp

Young musicians can jam all summer at weekly music camps where they will hone their ability to discern balance and timing while also gaining insight into instrumentation, arrangement, recording, and live performance. Each camp is limited to five students.
Texas Star Gymnastics

Campers will experience the world of gymnastics, tumbling and ninja each day while participating in classes and playing games as well as spending some time on the trampoline, tumble track and loose-foam pit.
